MICHELIN Guide Thailand is partnering with restaurants listed in MICHELIN Guide Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket & Phang-Nga 2021, which have created special menus for “Red Spoon | ปันอิ่ม ยิ้มสอง” campaign this July.
This campaign was conceived to bolster medical personnel and communities most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, while encouraging our favourite restaurants that have been dedicating their determination and hard work to keep hope and deliciousness alive during this difficult time. We invite you to join in supporting these communities and Thailand’s culinary scene with Red Spoon’s “buy one, donate one” promotion featuring 25 special menus from 25 restaurants recognised by MICHELIN Guide, including Baan, Baan Phadthai, Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu, Tonkin Annam, Indus, Blue Elephant, Polo Fried Chicken (Soi Polo), Supanniga Eating Room (Tha Tian), Somtum Der (Si Lom), Sritrat, La Dotta, Nonna Nella, Phed Phed Bistro, 100 Mahaseth (Si Phraya), The Local, Kiew Kai Ka, Thai Niyom, Sae Phun, Dai Lou, Sanyod (Sathon-Bang Rak), Lay Lao (Ari), Ongtong Khaosoi, Konchong Konprung, Khao (Ekkamai), and Aesop’s.
For every purchase of one of these specially created menus, one meal will be donated to families struggling due to the pandemic as a helping hand or to medical personnel as a thank you for their tireless work for our health and safety.
These 25 special “Red Spoon” menus from Bangkok’s tastiest restaurants will be available from 1-31 July 2021. As an added bonus, orders of 650 THB or more will receive a free copy of MICHELIN Guide Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket & Phang-Nga 2021.

Baan (MICHELIN Plate, MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2021)
Menu: “Stir fried ground pork with organic chillies and sweet basil with fried duck egg served with rice” offers homemade flavours inspired by Chef Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn’s memories. Here he uses organically farmed aromatic chillies and sweet basil and serves rich duck eggs to cut the spiciness from the chillies. He also offers “Tofu with egg over rice” as a meat-free option, adapted from Chinese-style meals his grandma cooked for him as a kid. This dish, featuring tofu and egg with shiitake mushrooms and white pepper for a little spicy heat and with a sprinkling of green onions, can be easily enjoyed by all.Price: 250 THB net

Polo Fried Chicken (Soi Polo) (Bib Gourmand, MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2021)
Menu: “Fried chicken, sticky rice, and som tam” from Polo Fried Chicken features fried chicken that has made mouths water for three generations, sprinkled with the deep-fried garlic that hooked the MICHELIN inspectors.
