Following The MICHELIN Guide Ceremony 2025, there are now a total of 85 restaurants in London holding either One, Two or Three MICHELIN Stars. This increasingly stellar selection is yet more proof that the British capital is a global gastronomic powerhouse, renowned for both its culinary diversity and its overall quality.
London’s new MICHELIN Stars are a fitting snapshot of the city’s dining scene as a whole, with its international outlook having been further enhanced by both a Greek MICHELIN-Starred restaurant in the form of OMA and a Korean Star with DOSA. AngloThai, meanwhile, is raising the profile of Thai cooking in the capital while using prime British ingredients.
Elsewhere, history has been made on Old Street as Plates London becomes the UK’s first-ever plant-based MICHELIN Star. Even more on-trend is Lita, which combines London’s love for wood-fired cooking with bold, lip-smacking flavours. Those with a love for luxury should head to the breathtakingly lavish Row on 5, which oozes quality from every corner, and Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO, where superb produce-led dishes are served inside the palatial, Three-MICHELIN-Key hotel.

Rounding out the new Stars are 64 Goodge Street, a relaxed British take on the classic French bistro de luxe; Cornus, where exceptional ingredients shine in confidently minimalistic dishes; and Caractère, whose technically impressive cooking has added another Star to Notting Hill’s glittering restaurant scene.
There have been some exciting promotions, too, with The Ritz Restaurant and Humble Chicken making the leap from One to Two MICHELIN Stars. Both hugely impressive operations, they could not be more different in style – underlining the fabulous variety among the city’s best restaurants.
