Recommended Hotel, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong now offers a delivery menu featuring their signature roast dishes. Choices of roast meat include U.S. Prime Tenderloin Beef Wellington (HK$1,988), Wicks Farm pork rack (HK$888), New Zealand lamb leg (HK$888) and Ping Yuen Chicken (HK$688). Each roast is meant to serve 4 to 5 people. A selection of vegetable dishes and salad, such as roasted potatoes (HK$188) and Caesar Salad (HK$198), and an array of dessert, such as 1963 Mandarin Cheesecake (HK$388) and Single Origin Chocolate Cake (HK$408), are also available. Patrons can also order from the select champagne and wine lists. Delivery service is available daily from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A minimum order of one roast item is required and must be placed at least 24 hours in advance. Complimentary delivery service is offered throughout Hong Kong Island, and at an additional cost for other parts of the city. Pick-up is also available at The Mandarin Cake Shop.

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong
Recommended Hotel, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong has recently expanded their range of delicacies on their online shop to cover more creations of chef Ringo Chan, the hotel’s executive pastry chef. New items on the category of pastries include croissant that uses sourdough (HK$25/piece), raisin or plain scone (HK$25/piece) and Sicilian Pistachio Danish (HK$25/piece). For cake lovers, don’t miss the Red Velvet Cake (HK$55/piece) and Piemonte Hazelnut and Sea Salt Caramel Cake (HK$55/piece) that Chan recommends. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance and the items can be redeemed at The Lounge from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the hotel’s lobby level.

Two MICHELIN Stars, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Diners can now enjoy the refined Cantonese dishes of Ying Jee Club in the comfort of their own home with the newly launched takeaway set menus prepared by chef Siu Hin Chi. There are three sets in total: a 5-course set menu for 2 people (HK$290/person), a 7-course set menu for 4 people (HK$1,180/set) and a 7-course set menu for 8 people (HK$3,880/set). All sets include a soup dish, a main course, a rice dish and a dessert. Diners can also order from the select a la carte menu where all dishes are 15% off the dining-in price. Signature dishes include the Stir-fried Lobster with Shallot and Scallion (HK$380/one-person portion) and Crispy Salted Chicken (HK$290/half, HK$580/whole). Prepayment is required for orders over HK$2,000.

Louise 
One MICHELIN Star, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Located at PMQ in Central, Louise is a French bistro that serves reimagined traditional French food in a casual environment. The restaurant's lauded signature dish, Roasted Yellow Hong Kong Chicken With Niigata Rice “En Cocotte” ($898) can now be sent to diners' doorsteps. The dish comprises one whole chicken that comes with crispy skin and tender meat, rice that is cooked in chicken stock and chicken jus, and a fresh salad. Each portion serves 2 to 4 persons. Diners have to place their order 12 hours in advance. Louise is also working on gradually adding more items to its delivery menu.

Duddell’s

Cantonese fine-dining restaurant Duddell’s is branching into takeaway and deliveries for the very first time with their maiden offer of five bento boxes. Diners can choose from combinations such as Sautéed Asparagus With Black Truffle Paired With Fried Noodles In Supreme Soy Sauce, a dim sum platter accompanied by fried rice with sweetened preserved vegetables, or the Deluxe Barbecued Pork Rice served with an egg fried sunny side up, among other choices (HK$128 each). The menu will change every fortnight. Orders have to be placed 12 hours in advance. Enjoy free delivery service for orders of 10 sets or more. If the order is less than $800, the delivery service is free for Hong Kong Island and $200 for Kowloon. Takeaway and delivery is available from 12 noon to 9 p.m. daily.

Celebrity Cuisine
One MICHELIN Star, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

The restaurant widely praised for its solid Cantonese cooking has started to work with UberEats and Foodpanda since the start of March to offer a delivery service. Delivery menu items such as the Braised Pork With Preserved Vegetable With Rice and Steamed Pork Patty With Water Chestnut With Rice (both $168) were carefully selected by chef Cheng Kam Fu for their ability to withstand the travel time without having their textures or flavours compromised. Chef Cheng has also insisted on using boxes that separate the gravy-laden dishes from the rice. For a real indulgence while staying home, order Bird's Nest Stuffed In Chicken Wings (HK$168 per piece), a lauded chef Cheng signature.

Chef Daniel Calvert is lauded for his precision in cooking that has earned the restaurant a loyal following. The restaurant is now offering a delivery menu with a choice of seven dishes, including the its homemade naturally leavened bread with salted Brittany butter ($68) , the Wild Garlic Ravioli With Burrata (HK$228) as well as Belon's two signature dishes: the whole roasted chicken (HK$888) and the mille feuille (HK$178). Diners can build a full course meal easily despite the seemingly limited choice. Lunch orders must be placed one day in advance and dinners order before 2 p.m. the day of delivery. Deliveries on Hong Kong Island are free for orders of HK$500 and above.

New Punjab Club
One MICHELIN Star, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

New Punjab Club is the first Punjabi restaurant that is recognised with a MICHELIN star in Hong Kong. Regular patrons can now order from the a la carte menu and the restaurant will deliver the dishes to their home. Lunch orders must be placed one day in advance and dinner orders before 2 p.m. the day of delivery. Delivery on Hong Kong island is free for orders of HK$500 and above. Signature dishes include Masalewali Chanp (roasted lamb chop), Samosa Chaat and Keema Pau (spiced mutton in milk buns).

Octavium
One MICHELIN Star, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Helmed by internationally renowned chef Umberto Bombana, Octavium’s MICHELIN-starred Italian cuisine can now be enjoyed at home via the restaurant's new takeaway and delivery service. Nine items are available, including the San Daniele Ham with Japanese Sweet White Radish (HK$360), Spaghetti Chitarra With Sicilian Red Prawns (HK$420) and a classic Italian tiramisu (HK$180). Guests are advised to place the order one day in advance, but the restaurant may accept same-day orders depending on availability. Delivery charges are HK$150 for Hong Kong Island addresses, HK$300 for Kowloon and HK$450 for the New Territories.

Tim Ho Wan
One MICHELIN Star, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Founded by chef Mak Kwai Pui and chef Leung Fai Keung in 2009, Tim Ho Wan was the cheapest MICHELIN-starred restaurant in the world when it received its first star in 2010. They have started to work with Foodpanda to offer delivery service for the first time. Among the 20 types of dim sum on offer are their popular baked BBQ pork buns (HK$25/3 pieces), shrimp dumplings (HK$37), siu mai (HK$37) and ma lai go (HK$22), along with a selection of rice noodle rolls, steamed rice, congee and snacks to complete the menu. In line with his philosophy, chef Mak insists that all foods, even they are for delivery, are to be made a la minute to maintain the highest standard possible.

Cornerstone
Bib Gourmand, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Shane Osborn, the chef behind one-MICHELIN-star Arcane and Bib Gourmand restaurant Cornerstone, has teamed up with online store Waves Pacific to launch a DIY meal package (HK$500) to deliver quality ingredients used by Cornerstone to home cooks. The package includes 300 grams of Ōra King Salmon Fillet, 300 grams of Rangers Valley Wagyu Bavette, two butterflied Brisbane Valley Jumbo Quail, 10 Japanese Taiyouran Eggs and 2 cans of Peroni. It also comes with two recipes from Osborn that teach you how to make the best use of the salmon, and how to perfect Cornerstone’s signature steak sandwich at home.

China Tang (Central) 
MICHELIN Plate, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Famed for its Beijing, Sichuan, and Cantonese cuisine infused with a modern element, China Tang is now offering three new menus designed specially for takeaways. The set for one (HK$108) comprises one portion of soup, such as sweet corn broth with crab meat, and one main course, such as rice with wok-fried minced Saga wagyu beef with black pepper. Families can order the set for four (HK$988) that includes four portions of soup, a choice of appetiser, such as marinated chicken with Chinese rice wine, two choices of the main course, such as sweet and sour pork and wok-fried prawn, and a vegetable dish. China Tang also offers Poon Choi (HK$1,088) that features luxurious ingredients such as abalone, garoupa fillet, wagyu and conpoy. Delivery service is available for orders of HK$1,000 or above. Guests can also get a 30 percent discount on takeaway orders from the restaurant's a la carte menu.

Yakiniku Jumbo
MICHELIN Plate, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

For the very first time, guests are able to enjoy the best-selling grilled beef of Yakiniku Jumbo at home thanks to the restaurant's bento box series just launched on April 1. Popular favourites include the Kuroge Wagyu Beef Bento (HK$248) (banner image) and Premium Ox Tongue Bento (HK$198) that are under the "grilled meat" series. Other bento choices include the Wagyu Beef Curry Udon (HK$168) and Okinawa Pork With Ginger Sauce ($168). The quantity of the six types of bento boxes that are under the "grilled meat" series is limited to 80 sets per type per day, so pre-order them to avoid disappointment.

Chilli Fagara’s Hot N Meen
MICHELIN Plate, MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020

Popular Sichuan restaurant Chili Fagara's latest offshoot is a delivery-only brand named Hot N Meen, which they started to cater to the growing demand. The concise menu offers only six cold dishes and ten types of noodles, but it something for every palate, from the Dan Dan Noodles (HK$68) for spice-lovers to the Beijing-style Noodles In Soybean Paste (HK$68) and Spring Onion Noodles with Scallion Oil And Dried Shrimp (HK$68) for vegetarians and the spice-averse. Go for the lunch set to enjoy an appetiser and a main dish for just HK$88.

Hot 'N' Meen is currently only available on Deliveroo.

Have a taste of Forum, which has been newly elevated to three-MICHELIN-star status in the latest 2020 edition of the MICHELIN Guide, in the comfort of your home with their recently launched takeaway lunch set (HK$150/person). The set, consisting of a Cantonese dish, a soup dish, a bowl of rice and a dessert, is available from Monday to Saturday with a fixed menu designed for each day. For example, Monday’s menu features Braised Goose Web and Mushroom in Abalone Sauce, Pork Rib with Tomato and Potato Soup, Sweet Red Bean Soup and a bowl of rice. Order your takeaway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and pick it up from 12 to 3 p.m. the same day. The meals can be delivered to your door if you order 10 sets or above.

Sister Wah takes pride in making their beef brisket noodles with fresh beef brisket with the same recipe the founder has been using since they opened 16 years ago. They have recently started working with Deliveroo to offer delivery on top of their existing takeaway service. On the menu is their famous beef brisket noodles (HK$60), deep-fried pork rib with vegetables rice (HK$72) and radish in beef sauce (HK$24). The combination set lets you taste the restaurant's best selling items such as the beef brisket noodles and the radish, for just HK$80.

Ciak - All Day Italian

Ciak in Tai Koo Shing offers fresh Italian cuisine under the watchful eyes of culinary advisor Umberto Bombana. The restaurant’s new offer allows diners to enjoy 30 percent off dining-in prices for all takeaway orders. Norcina Pizza (HK$160 for 7 inches) and Maltagliati Iberico Pork Ragout Pasta (HK$190) are two dishes that the restaurant recommends. Free delivery within the Taikoo Shing neighbourhood is available for orders of HK$600 or above. The offer ends on April 30 and is not applicable on April 10-13.

Cantonese restaurant Yue in the City Garden Hotel is now offering delivery service via Deliveroo. The menu diverse menu spans categories such as appetisers, soups, barbecued meat, dim sum, congee, rice, noodles, and more. The best-selling items include Steamed Rice With Shrimps In Abalone Sauce (HK$228), honey-glazed barbecued pork (HK$218) and steamed minced pork with water chestnuts (HK$195).

Sun Tung Lok has recently started offering delivery service via two channels: directly from the restaurant and on Deliveroo. Orders placed with the restaurant receive 22 percent off the dining-in prices of their a la carte and set menus, which include signature dishes such as Braised Oxtail With Skin (HK$468) and Roast Suckling Pig Stuffed With Minced Shrimp (HK$330) are on offer. Delivery charges are waived for orders of HK$1,500 and above. The restaurant also offers three sets of Poon Choi (HK$738-HK$1,488) on Deliveroo. The most popular choice is Roast Duck Cooked In Soybean Paste (HK$738), while diners can also choose from Braised Beef Brisket With Radish (HK$868) or Meat Crab Cooked In XO Sauce (HK$1,488). All the poon choi sets come with an assortment of side dishes such as fish cake and prawn balls.

Tin Lung Heen is lauded for its classic Cantonese cuisine crafted with the solid cooking skills of chef de cuisine Lau Ping Lui. The restaurant has been offering takeaway service seven days a week since the end of April for its menu that spans categories including dim sum (available only at lunch time), soups, seafood, meat dishes, rice and noodles, and more. Patrons will be delighted to know the restaurant’s two signature dishes — Honey-glazed Iberian Pork Char Siu and Double-boiled Chicken Soup With Fish Maw In Coconut — are on the menu. Lunch is available for pick up from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the order must be placed 30 minutes before the pick-up time. For dinner, takeaway service is available from 6:30 to 9 p.m., and the order must be placed 2 hours in advance.

Cantonese restaurant Cuisine Cuisine in Tsim Sha Tsui has launched a takeaway menu offering select dishes with a special offer of 20 percent off the dining in price. For lunch, the 12 options include Shrimp Dumplings And Pork Liver In White Pepper Broth (HK$80) and Fried Rice Noodles With Australian Beef In Premium Soy Sauce (HK$298), or opt for the lunch set menu (HK$198) for a bowl of soup, a main course and a vegetable dish. For dinner, 25 choices are available and the selection features Wok-fried Beef With Asparagus, Fig And Basil (HK$398) that the restaurant prides itself on. Takeaway service is available from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 to 10:30 p.m. every day except public holiday. Diners are advised to place their orders 45 minutes in advance.

Huaiyang cuisine specialist Dong Lai Shun is offering 20 percent off for all the takeaway orders.
