Straight into the Guide with Two MICHELIN Stars

With 37 new one-, two- or three-star restaurants and 23 new Bib Gourmand establishments the MICHELIN Guide Germany 2020 once again demonstrates its great culinary diversity.

Michelin has decided to cancel the presentation and awarding of the MICHELIN 2020 Germany Guide, which was planned for March 3rd in Hamburg. The reason for this is the increasing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the associated health risks for participants.

Michelin is pleased to unveil the new selection for the fourth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Croatia 2020. With this selection, the MICHELIN Guide celebrates the Croatian culinary scene and demonstrates its richness and diversity with four outstanding new addresses.

With 6 new two-star restaurants and 12 new one-star establishments, the MICHELIN Guide Switzerland 2020 is launched today, and this brings the total of restaurants in the country that have now been awarded one or more MICHELIN stars to 122.

Four New Bibs Join the Nordic Countries Guide 2020

This year's edition includes 63 new starred restaurants as well as the launch of a new symbol that shines the spotlight on chefs who are embracing sustainable gastronomy.

Michelin is pleased to unveil the selection of its 2020 Guide France, which is launched today and includes 63 new starred restaurants. In total, 628 Michelin-starred establishments, distributed throughout the country, are featured in the MICHELIN Guide France 2020. In addition to the star selection, this year is also marked by the Guide's desire to shine the spotlight on chefs who are embracing more sustainable gastronomy, by highlighting their initiatives and facilitating their identification through the creation of a new pictogram.

This year's guide features eight new starred restaurants.

In the 12th edition of the Hong Kong Macau guide, 16 restaurants receive new stars, including two new three-starred restaurants, three new two-starred restaurants and 11 new one-starred restaurants.

Michelin is pleased to announce that Malta will join the 32 countries already covered by the MICHELIN Guide in 2020. A major tourist destination, Malta has attracted the attention of Michelin’s inspectors and their forthcoming selection of the best restaurants in the country will be revealed in February 2020.
