Kuala Lumpur and Penang’s dining establishments make their debut in the MICHELIN Guide with 97 listings, covering over 20 cuisine types, along with three restaurants receiving the MICHELIN Special Awards: Service Award, Sommelier Award and Young Chef Award.

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City join the list of destinations covered by the MICHELIN Guide’s inspectors with the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City selection set for public release in June 2023.

A total of 441 entries are featured: 6 Two MICHELIN Stars, 
29 One MICHELIN Star, 189 Bib Gourmand, and 217 recommended venues.

Today, in the ancient city of Toledo, Michelin unveiled the restaurant selection of the MICHELIN Guide Spain and Portugal 2023. This edition, brimful of new surprises, includes 2 restaurants which receive the highest Three MICHELIN Star distinction, while 3 others rise to the Two Star category and 34 earn One MICHELIN Star. Moreover, the MICHELIN inspectors added 38 new Bib Gourmand restaurants to the selection, as well as 14 MICHELIN Green Stars.

Myojaku and SÉZANNE receive Two MICHELIN Stars, and 16 new restaurants are distinguished One MICHELIN Star, while the Bib Gourmand celebrates 38 new restaurants which have been rated as best value-for-money by MICHELIN inspectors.

Abu Dhabi’s restaurants make their debut in the MICHELIN Guide with 42 listings covering 16 cuisine types. Three restaurants receive one MICHELIN Star and 4 restaurants are awarded a Bib Gourmand.

With three MICHELIN Stars, Villa Crespi restaurant enters the gastronomic Italian constellation.
