The MICHELIN Guide Shanghai 2025 is released, featuring one new Two Star restaurant, five new One Star establishments, over 30 cooking styles, and honoring three exceptional professionals with Special Awards. And for the first time, a dim sum restaurant is awarded One MICHELIN Star in city.

The eighth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Shanghai was unveiled, recommending 148 restaurants, including 23 restaurants debuting on the list.

The latest selection recognises one new Two-MICHELIN-Star and 3 new One-Michelin-Star restaurants, while the Bib Gourmand selection expands with 7 new restaurants. The MICHELIN Sommelier Award also makes its debut in Shanghai amid wider recognition of hospitality talents.

The MICHELIN Guide Shanghai 2022 selection was announced at the Xijiao State Guest Hotel, Shanghai, celebrating 1 new Three MICHELIN Star restaurant, 5 new One MICHELIN Star restaurants. and the Bib Gourmand selection. For the first time, the MICHELIN Green Star comes to Shanghai, recognizing and encouraging sustainable gastronomy.
