Michelin Inspector Field Notes: March 2019

Hear directly from the source the latest thoughts from our Michelin inspectors.

inspectors

We've already given you a glimpse of how the inspection process works, but now we want to peel back the curtain a little more to give you additional insight into what's going through the minds of our famously anonymous inspectors. The easiest way to do that? Following one of their Twitter accounts (Chicago, New York or California) or staying up to date with their latest Instagram posts. And yes, these are real inspectors sharing their personal thoughts.

Hey, inspectors—sharing is caring.

In my humble opinion, if you're eating barbecue and you don't end up with sauce on your person, it must not have been that good.

Any other deep dish pizza fans out there?

One of the most perfect eggs I've seen in quite some time.

It's not often that this is true when someone says it.

Looks like I need to make a visit to The Diner the next time I'm in Washington, D.C. See you there?

Bet you didn't think you'd read the inspectors' thoughts on toilets.

You had me at "deep-fried quesadillas."

The inspectors also dole out dating advice.

Don't forget to eat your vegetables.
