First Look: La Pepa

This new Spanish restaurant serves up a good happy hour deal.

Tucked along Gemmill Lane, La Pepa is the latest addition to the bustling street. Here, the cosy tapas bar is for groups of friends looking for delicious food without the frills.

On the menu are interesting Spanish ingredients that are less commonly seen here: Think mojama, an air-dried and cured tuna loin and mojo, a special sauce good for roasted meats.

In true Spanish spirit, the restaurant also offers single-serve tapas with any alcoholic beverage during happy hour. The space also has a 'mercado' (market) where the olive oils and cured meats used in their dishes are for retail.
