MICHELIN Guide Ceremony 1 minute 18 September 2025

The Best Restaurants in Toronto & Region for 2025

All of the Stars from the 2025 MICHELIN Guide.

The MICHELIN Guide Toronto 2025 was released on September 18 and there's big news coming out of the Canadian city. One restaurant was promoted to Two MICHELIN Stars, while another spot was awarded its first Star.

There's also Green Star news, with Sundays in Uxbridge earning its first nod. Sundays joins Restaurant Pearl Morissette and White Lily Diner as one of three restaurants in Ontario to be recognized with the prestigious Green Star. The owners of Sundays are inspired by farmers, and live and farm nearby. Their team harvests every morning and brings only what they need to the restaurant each day. Their commitment to local products even extends to the wine, with a strong Ontario focus on their list.

Read below to discover who has made the list in 2025.

New Two Stars

Restaurant Pearl Morissette

Lincoln, Ontario
Cuisine: Contemporary

This 42-acre destination in the picturesque Niagara region is the full experience. A restaurant, winery, orchard, farm and bakery, Restaurant Pearl Morissette is a powerhouse. With great pride for Canadian ingredients and respect for the seasons, Chefs Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson make the most of their surroundings to enhance their spontaneous tasting menu's dishes, as in roasted guinea hen with chanterelles, mokum carrot and fig. Yes, there is plenty of wine available, but don’t miss the accomplished juice pairing either. The meal may conclude sweetly with a deliciously creamy hogweed ice cream sandwich followed by terrific, freshly baked madeleines. Meanwhile, the warm team keeps the tasting moving at a friendly clip.

Toronto
Cuisine: Chinese

Chef Eric Chong has set out to do what few others in the region dare to. Drawing inspiration from across Asia, he taps into his own Chinese heritage and delivers a modern tasting menu that reimagines what is possible with ingredients like abalone, chicken noodle soup, tofu and leeks. Tables run down the length of a stylish room framed with gold-leaf finishes, and an intimate, four-seat chef’s counter offers an even closer look at the refined excellence coming out of this kitchen. Highlights include lobster cheung fun, char siu bao with Iberico secreto, grilled abalone with kombu beurre blanc and fried amadai with ginger-scallion fume. Gorgeous desserts, creative cocktails and personable service enhance this memorable experience.
