Five new establishments have been added to the selection, bringing the total number of recommended restaurants to 25. This is the fifth edition since 2021. In preparation for this, the inspectors were able to award a new Bib Gourmand, that highlights the quality and authenticity of cuisine served at attractive prices.
The new Bib gourmand Bela Reka is located in Novi Beograd, the modern part of the capital. It stands out for its traditional and generous cuisine, featuring meats and cheeses and for its close ties with its suppliers, including its own farm. This spacious venue boasts friendly and attentive service, in an often-lively atmosphere.
Maintaining the same well-earned award, both Istok, with its intriguing Southeast Asian cuisine and its simple, minimalist ambience, and Iva New Balkan Cuisine, where a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere reigns from the moment you enter. Guests come to enjoy traditional Serbian recipes revisited with a modern twist, especially in their presentation.
At the top of the selection remain the two restaurants awarded 1 MICHELIN Star
Langouste, in the historic center, guided by chef Marko Đerić continued to offer refined interpretations of many local products in delicious, carefully crafted recipes, obviously with a contemporary twist.
Fleur de Sel, located in the countryside in Novi Slankamen, also lived up to expectations, with its kitchen team's recipes also featuring French influences. The chef in charge is Nikola Stojaković.
5 new selected restaurants are added to the selection
• Suvenir: Located outside the city center, but housed in a houseboat on the Sava River, its timeless atmosphere inspires you to savor its simple, traditional, and equally engaging dishes such as Grilled prawns or Adriatic cuttlefish with potatoes. The splendid dining rooms and professional service further enhanced the experience.
• Prime: With its bright and elegant spaces within the Crowne Plaza Hotel, it nevertheless has a life of its own, serving high-quality, predominantly Mediterranean cuisine, inspired by the chef's Italian experience: fresh pasta is a specialty.
• Puter: meaning "butter" in Serbian, a declaration of intent regarding their cuisine, which draws inspiration from both French one, where it is a key ingredient, and that of their home country, Serbia, where it plays an equally important role. A modern bistro serving dishes based on traditional, sometimes slow, cooking methods, the kitchen also does a superb job of aesthetically pleasing presentation.
• S5 by Angie: run by a young and motivated chef who had already worked here in the past. Anđela Risimić has added her own style to the restaurant's characteristic Italian flair, formed by various experiences abroad, including Italy and other European countries, rabbit ravioli with mushrooms sauce is a perfect example of the warm cuisine.
• Restoran 27: Every aspect of the offering, food, service, and ambiance, is designed with the guest's well-being at the heart of the project. Etiquette isn't the only consideration, but everything is done to make them feel at ease. The restaurant offers a collection of personal recipes that aim for classic flavors yet are imaginatively crafted. They reference Serbia, particularly the origins of many of the ingredients, but also Italy and Mediterranean cuisines in general.
