One Star: High quality cooking
Located on the edge of the historic center, this restaurant boasts expansive picture windows that frame stunning views of the Sava River and the city’s contemporary skyline. In the kitchen, chef Marko Derić—a young, passionate talent who returned to Belgrade after honing his craft in several European restaurants—leads with creativity and precision. His culinary approach is rooted in Serbian traditions and ingredients, which he reimagines with a modern twist, drawing inspiration from French and Italian cuisines. Guests can choose from a variety of tasting menus: a five-course fish menu, a five-course meat menu, a more elaborate eight-course menu combining both, a special lobster option, and a small à la carte selection. In a unique touch, the chefs themselves present the dishes at the table, creating a direct connection between the kitchen and the guest. Every detail reflects a deep respect for Serbia’s culinary heritage, thoughtfully reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
