While Admiralgade 26 dates back to 1796 and is located in one of the oldest parts of Copenhagen, it's decidedly not old-world. A hybrid wine bar, cafe, and bistro, the appealing, modern menu and relaxed vibe serve as the perfect night out.

Inspector notes: "Top-notch British produce is used in unfussy modern dishes with a classic heart and the occasional playful touch, and strong, punchy flavors shine through. The dishes are often finished at the table with a flourish, while the well-drilled serving team explain their make-up."

A bit bohemian and a touch retro, The Aster injects much needed warmth and understated luxury to Los Angeles. With 35 suites, the Aster is as much as a private club as it is a hotel. Offering humanely raised meats from local partner farms, Gwen is named in honor of Stone's beloved grandmother. Art Deco glamour from top to bottom sets the scene with crystal chandeliers and a roaring fireplace, while upscale cuts à la carte or the multicourse tasting menu satiate diners's souls with style.
Inspector notes: "The menu is concise and stars house-made charcuterie and wood-fire grilled steaks. Watch from the chef's counter as the crew deftly cooks high quality meat, perhaps a Blackmore Wagyu New York strip, to perfection. Save room for dessert, like a round of cheesecake nestled in a mound of graham cracker crumbs and topped with a quenelle of mango lime sorbet."
Another local favorite is Mother Wolf, where chef Evan Funke brings the crowds before opening the doors. Columns wrapped in red tile, olive trees planted across the dining room, and red-and-white patterned upholstery resembling candy canes lend a playful vibe while pasta lovers will be in heaven with so many delectable options.
Inspector notes: "Thin-crust pies charred in a wood-burning oven and a host of Roman pastas — cacio e pepe, amatriciana, carbonara — form the heart of the menu."

The Betsy’s pre-deco style immediately stands out amongst the sea of endless Miami hotels. Originally called the Betsy Ross, the hotel presently incorporates the former Carlton Hotel on Collins Avenue as its “Hohauser” wing.
