Your Top-Booked Hotels in the World in 2025

Our Inspectors curated no shortage of hotel lists this year — but this one is all you. Here are your most-booked hotels in 2025.

The spots below are among the hotels you booked most with us in 2025, a collection that represents your favorites across 10 countries. And what does it say about your tastes? Yours is a palette of nuance and variety: you know when to score a deal, but also when to splurge. You appreciate both the grand dames and the hidden gems, the biggest cities and the smallest hamlets.

To keep the list varied and highlight a range of destinations, we’ve included only one top-performing hotel per country. While some of these hotels boast Key distinctions and others do not, all are exceptional representatives of the MICHELIN hotel selection, and we’re thrilled to celebrate them here.

Estelle Manor — North Leigh, England

What it's all about: A One-Key, timelessly designed country house in the Cotswolds.

Designed, perhaps surprisingly, by a New York firm — industry darlings Roman and Williams — the hotel is a fantastic and fanatically detailed vision of timeless country-house hospitality. And as much as there is to do on the estate and the countryside beyond, many may remain on site instead, enjoying the luxe design, the spa, the Roman-style bath and the many drinking and dining venues besides.

Santa Casa — Mexico City, Mexico

What it's all about: An affordable boutique gem in the popular Roma Norte neighborhood.

Of nearly three dozen MICHELIN hotels in Mexico City, Santa Casa stands out for both its affordability, with rates that begin around $100 per night, and its warm, boutique character. There's nothing better than a restored home in Mexico, and this one, once the site of a duchess' elegant soirées, is one of the best bases in Roma Norte.

Camptown — New York, United States

What it's all about: A joyous woodsy escape in the bucolic Catskills just north of New York City.

In the Catskills, that long-beloved favorite for quick New York City escapes, there a hotel quite new to a region with more than its share of historic getaways. Opened in 2023 with some of the bones of the former 1930s motel still intact, Camptown creates a dreamy, summer-camp-like escape with self-contained cabins tucked in the woods just off a main road. For those in need of a deep breath away from the city, this is a godsend. Nor is it purely a summer escape. In winter, accommodations with a wood-burning stove are particularly cozy.

La Mamounia — Marrakesh, Morocco

What it's all about: A Three-Key Morocco landmark drenched in Art Deco fantasy.

Among the most storied hotels in the country and the world, visited by all the famous names of the 20th century, La Mamounia underwent a massive renovation just before its 100-year anniversary. Today, it may stand spiritually apart from the hole-in-the-wall riads, but physically it's the best of both worlds — near the medina of the old city but ensconced in its own historic gardens.

Hotel Liberty — Offenburg, Germany

What it's all about: A prison-turned-boutique at the edge of the Black Forest.

Not the only prison-turned-boutique in Germany, this one, in the southwestern town of Offenburg at the edge of the Black Forest and near the French border, lets travelers use its stylish rooms, once the prison's cells, as a gateway to a region full of nature, vineyards and MICHELIN restaurants. What were once bleak spaces are now dramatic and glamorous, and guests enjoy an excellent location with fine dining on site.

Auberge du Vieux Port — Montreal, Canada

What it's all about: A historic boutique with Québécois-French flair in Old Montréal.

Chock full of historical detail in one of North America's most historic cities, a hotel that feels like a trip through time. Rustic touches like timbered ceilings, pine floors and 1882-vintage stone and brick walls complement comfortable guest rooms with all the modern necessities. In the timbered cellar, Taverne Gaspar, visitors get a peek at an unearthed relic: a piece of the fortification that originally defended the city.

Retreat at Blue Lagoon — Grindavik, Iceland

What it's all about: A One-Key at the famous lagoon, nominated by Inspectors for the 2025 MICHELIN Wellness Award.

We recently named the Retreat at Blue Lagoon among the world's top wellness hotels, and the warm mineral waters of the famous Blue Lagoon speak for themselves. Guests enjoy private access to the healing waters, while the pristine volcanic setting works wonders of its own. That's all before we mention the One-Star Moss restaurant.

What it's all about: A famed, beloved One-Key hotel on the shores of Lake Como.

The location on the shores of Lake Como makes it among the most desirable in the world. This hotel is everything you want in a once-in-a-lifetime trip: effortless opulence and impossibly picturesque scenery, where rooms are decorated in period furniture and the famous outdoor pool floats on the lake itself.

K5 — Tokyo, Japan

What it's all about: One of Tokyo's most unique hotels, with One Key and an exceptionally well-designed personality.

Tokyo doesn’t have as many boutique hotels as you might expect, but the ones it does have are exquisitely crafted and absolutely unique. K5 takes a 1920s-vintage bank building in Nihonbashi Kabutochō — essentially Tokyo’s Wall Street — and, with the help of the Stockholm-based architecture firm Claesson Koivisto Rune, transforms it into a living tribute to contemporary Swedish design, with a healthy dose of Japanese aesthetics.

Pulitzer Paris — Paris, France

What it's all about: The most affordable Key hotel in Paris is a perennial favorite.

Of our hundreds of hotels in Paris, there is without a doubt a choice for everyone. That the most consistently affordable Key hotel finds its way to this list is no surprise. With a home in the Opéra district, this 44-room gem in Parisian style is surrounded by MICHELIN-selected restaurants and Bib Gourmands.
