At Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, guests are invited to take an active role when the chefs and staff choreograph each element of the menu as part of a total dining experience. Each dish, created and planned in detail using a series of comprehensive cooking techniques with fresh ingredients, is a compelling chapter in this amazing gastronomic story.
“Mini-Summer Journey” takes inspiration from The Journey set dinner menu, which has proved to be exceedingly popular at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin in 2018.
Chayawee Sutcharitchan, Head Chef at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, explained, “We want our lunch guests to enjoy a similar experience but we also realise that they may have limited time to enjoy our tempting eight-course set menu. That’s why I have prepared a shortened version of the popular dinner set menu.”
The “Mini-Summer Journey” set lunch includes interpretations of Thai street food (Chiang Mai sausage and chicken satay with peanut ice cream), followed by four-courses and concluded with petits four.
The four-course set menu includes roasted foie gras with mushroom ravioli, five-spices pork ravioli and mushroom bouillon; Maine lobster salad and frozen red curry, slow-cooked beef rib with homemade oyster sauce; and the all-time favourite mango with sticky rice. Each set lunch experience concludes with some fun and amusement as guests hunt for the genuine petits four of Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin.
Chef Chayawee has also revealed new summer à la carte menu choices including spicy salad with pomelo, cucumber, lemongrass, spring onion with raw Hokkaido scallop; butter-poached King crab with celery, apple and ginger; and pistachio soufflé served with pandan ice-cream and pandan noodles.
The new “Mini-Summer Journey” set lunch is now available from THB 1,850++ per set per person. Prices are subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
