With dozens of international cuisines represented across a dining scene that boasts over 80 MICHELIN-Starred establishments and 40+ Bib Gourmands, London is quite simply one of the best places to eat around the globe. With new London restaurants constantly opening and familiar favourites always evolving, here are the Inspectors’ latest additions to The MICHELIN Guide.
The MICHELIN Guide’s London selection has been bolstered this month by a trio of restaurants, each offering something completely different. One is zeitgeist-capturing and British at heart; one is classical Italian to its core; and one brings the lively fun of a Japanese izakaya to Soho. Read on for more detail on the Inspectors’ latest finds.

Goodbye Horses, Islington
Traditional BritishDe Beauvoir Town, a small pocket of Dalston-adjacent northeast London, is the setting for this wine bar and restaurant that could scarcely be more on-trend. Interesting natural wines with a low-intervention ethos? Tick. Seasonal shareable plates? Tick. A lol-fi dining room packed with young creatives? You bet! And it’s all underscored by keen pricing and some serious quality in the kitchen.
HIMI, Soho
JapaneseAnyone who was a fan of the currently closed Roji in Mayfair will be delighted to see that its husband-and-wife team have returned with another Japanese restaurant, this time more akin to a buzzy izakaya. The highlights of the mightily appealing menu include the dishes from the robata grill, such as the ebichili – crispy, shell-on red shrimp in a robust red pepper sauce.

Pinna, Mayfair
ItalianIf it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That old adage has been heartily embraced by the team at Pinna, a new Mayfair spot distilling all the goodness of classic Italian cooking into one stylish package. Ingredient-led dishes – look out for the daily prime cuts – and homemade pasta are the order of the day, and when it’s executed this well, why would you want anything else?
