First Look: Japan Gourmet Hall SORA at Changi Airport Terminal 2

SORA takes Terminal 2's food offerings to new heights.

Opening today, ANA's latest dining venture at Changi Airport's Terminal 2 is a welcome new addition to the public area at the departure hall. SORA, which translates to 'sky' in Japanese, seats about 300 diners and is the largest restaurant across all four terminals.

Designed for travelers, the food hall offers comfortable booth and tatami seating options, as well as bar seating for solo diners, complete with charging points for mobile devices. Children can enjoy the interactive Kid's Corner replete with a giant tablet for games and flat screen television.

Food-wise, there are 7 stalls, including the SORA Bar which offers desserts and beverages:
Tsuruhashi Fugetsu offers okonomiyaki and yakisoba from Osaka
Japoli Kitchen serves Italian-Japanese pastas, pizzas and risottos
Menya Takeichi is Tokyo's top chicken ramen chain
Kuro Maguro was started by Japanese fish wholesalers so expect the freshest sashimi and kaisendon here
Tendon Kohaku sees long lines at its Suntec outlet, and now you can get your Edomae-style tempura and rice bowls here
Tokyo Sundubu specializes in the hearty Korean stew with tofu that's made fresh daily
