MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

One bite makes it clear that this kitchen boasts a skilled chef who knows how to deliver the best of authentic Italian food. Of course, this should come as no surprise as Chef and co-owner Emanuel Concas is the man who heads this kitchen. Start with a platter of fritture featuring fried zucchini and octopus. Then move on to delicacies that prove the chef’s Sardinian origins, like bottarga di muggine di Cabras, liberally shaved over house-made pici. Schiaffoni con salsa di granseola piccante (spicy braised stone crab sauce) is yet another delight that may be tailed by seadas—a unique Sardinian treat—featuring a fritter filled with pecorino and topped with honey. Stop to appreciate the olive oil at the heart of this cooking and pick up a bottle or two to go.
