What a year it’s been for London’s restaurants, with enough thrilling new openings across the capital to keep even the most dedicated diner busy. Following all the exciting news unveiled at The MICHELIN Guide Ceremony 2025 on 10th February, we’ve been taking stock of the last 12 months of culinary creativity.
A total of 49 London restaurants have been added to The MICHELIN Guide this year, spanning as wide a range of cuisine types and settings as you’d expect from a city as eclectic as London. Eating out in this fast-moving city can be like going on a gastronomic world tour, with Mexico, Malaysia, Greece, Georgia, the Philippines and the Basque Country among the stops – plus some hearty, proudly British fare, of course. This year’s additions are spread right across the city, too, stretching all the way from Clapton to Richmond.
What’s more, of the 10 newly Starred restaurants in London this year, seven of them opened in the last 12 months; similarly, 10 out of 11 new Bib Gourmands in London went to restaurants that joined The Guide in the past year.
Below, you’ll find a list of every London restaurant added to The MICHELIN Guide between February 2024 and February 2025, which together provide a fitting snapshot of the city’s rich culinary landscape.
