It’s not often that restaurants in Oslo are influenced by British cuisine, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at this minimally decorated neighbourhood bistro. Operations such as London's St. John are the inspiration for the kitchen, with dishes like beef brisket pie and mash providing suitably gutsy flavours and hearty generosity. They even serve a traditional roast dinner on Sundays! French influences come into play as well, as with the madeleines for dessert. Friendly service creates a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.
