Make your way from the centre of Göreme, past the charming boutiques, to the grounds of Sultan Cave Suites, home to the town's highest-altitude restaurant. The approach has a touch of magic to it – a feeling confirmed the moment you take in the magnificent view from the terrace. This is the perfect spot for watching the sunset! The menu reveals a clear devotion to traditional Anatolian cuisine: yoghurt with candied and fresh fruit or generously stuffed dolmas to start, followed by Cappadocian ravioli stuffed with minced lamb, accompanied by gently simmered chickpeas and yoghurt flavoured with dried herbs. Fruit and vegetables often come from their own garden, and even wine is made on site. Be sure to arrive early as they do not take reservations.
