Thai & Tasty Terms & Conditions
1. There is no entrance fee and purchase necessary to enter all 7 campaigns.
2. The campaigns are open to international participation — regardless of nationality and aged 18 years and above. Michelin’s employees, including of Michelin’s parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates or other contractors and sub-contractors who, in any way, are involved in the development, production or execution of the campaigns are not eligible to participate.
3. There are 7 competitions under the campaign which will commence during 6 periods as follows:
- Thai & Tasty #1: from November 11 – 16, 2020
- Thai & Tasty #2: from November 18 – 23, 2020
- Thai & Tasty #3: from November 25 – 30, 2020
- Thai & Tasty #4: from December 2 – 7, 2020
- Thai & Tasty #5: from December 9 – 14, 2020
- Thai & Tasty #6: from December 18 – 23, 2020
- Thai & Tasty #7: from December 25 – 30, 2020
4. A total of 7 winners will be selected from those who correctly and timely answer the questions posted on Michelin Guide Thailand’s Facebook page at the “comments section” of each relevant competition. If there are more than 7 winners, the participants whose answer is most satisfactory to the Promoter will be rewarded, in which the Promoter’s discretion shall be absolute and final.
5. The Promoter shall not be responsible for answers that are incomplete, illegal or incorrect, or participants who fail to respond within the closing dates. After the closing dates, late answers will be rejected.
6. Names of the winners will be announced on Michelin Guide Thailand’s Facebook Page:
- Thai & Tasty #1: from November 16, 2020 by 5PM (GMT+7)
- Thai & Tasty #2: from November 23, 2020 by 5PM (GMT+7)
- Thai & Tasty #3: from November 30, 2020 by 5PM (GMT+7)
- Thai & Tasty #4: from December 7, 2020 by 5PM (GMT+7)
- Thai & Tasty #5: from December 14, 2020 by 5PM (GMT+7)
- Thai & Tasty #6: from December 23, 2020 by 5PM (GMT+7)
- Thai & Tasty #7: from December 30, 2020 by 5PM (GMT+7)
7. There are 7 prizes for each competition as follows:
- Thai & Tasty #1: - 1 x 2-night accommodation at Anantara Chiang Mai Resort’s Deluxe Garden View Room with complimentary breakfast for 2 (valued at THB 20,000)
- Thai & Tasty #2: - 1 x dinner (7-course menu) for 2 at Elements (valued at THB 10,593)
- Thai & Tasty #3: - 1 x dinner (tasting menu) for 2 at Le Du (valued at THB 8,450.86)
- Thai & Tasty #4: - 1 x dinner (6-course menu) for 2 at Savelberg (valued at THB 7,200++)
- Thai & Tasty #5: - 1 x dinner (6-course menu) for 2 at Saneh Jaan (valued at THB 5,300)
- Thai & Tasty #6: - 1 x 1-night accommodation at Rosewood Bangkok’s Manor Suite with complimentary breakfast and set dinner for 2 at Nan Bei (valued at THB 20,000++)
- Thai & Tasty #7: - 1 x 1-night accommodation at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River’s Premier River-View Room with complimentary breakfast (valued at THB 18,000++)
8. Dining and accommodation prizes will be given in the form of vouchers. Prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable to cash or others. Prizes with value of over THB 1,000.- shall be subjected to 5% withholding tax that shall be deducted from the prizes by the Promoter.
9. After each announcement, winners shall contact the Promoter within 7 days from the announcement date and failure as such shall result in automatic withdrawal by the winner, in which the Promoter will offer the prize to the second next winner of each relevant competition.
10. Prize delivery for all winners will be endorsed by Michelin Guide Thailand.
11. To claim the prizes, the winners are required to check either the hotel or restaurant’s availability as they may be fully booked during festivals or long holidays. Please directly contact and make a reservation with the hotel or restaurant at least 15 days in advance.
12. These prizes shall be claimed or spent no later than the following validity timeframes:
Thai & Tasty #1: - 1 x 2-night accommodation at Anantara Chiang Mai Resort’s Deluxe Garden View Room with complimentary breakfast for 2: Valid until 31 July 2021 with blackout dates and only subject to availability upon reservation- Thai & Tasty #2: - 1 x dinner (7-course menu) for 2 at Elements at The Okura Prestige Bangkok: Valid from 1 December 2020 – 30 June 2021 with blackout dates on 24, 25, 31 December 2020, 1 January, 14 February 2021
- Thai & Tasty #3: - 1 x dinner (tasting menu) for 2 at Le Du: Valid until 30 November 2021 with blackout dates on 21 December 2020 - 9 January 2021
- Thai & Tasty #4: - 1 x dinner (6-course menu) for 2 at Savelberg: Valid until 31 June 2021 with blackout dates on 24, 25, 30, 1 December 2020, 1 January, 14 February 2021
- Thai & Tasty #5: - 1 x dinner (6-course menu) for 2 at Saneh Jaan: Valid until 30 April 2021
- Thai & Tasty #6:- 1 x 1-night accommodation at Rosewood Bangkok’s Manor Suite with complimentary breakfast and set dinner for 2 at Nan Bei: Valid until 30 March 2021 with blackout dates and only subject to availability upon reservation
- Thai & Tasty #7: - 1 x 1-night accommodation at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River’s Premier River-View Room with complimentary breakfast: Valid from 3 January – 30 June 2021
13. In the event that the hotels or restaurants listed above are no longer available or in operation, the Promoter reserves to provide a substitution hotel or restaurant of the same category and value to the winners.
14. Before commencing each competition, the Promoter may change or alter any provisions stated in the Terms & Conditions which shall take effect immediately upon posting on the webpage.
15. This campaign is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook. Contestants acknowledge that all information submitted here is directly to the Promoter, not Facebook. Contestants agree that Facebook shall not be liable in any way in respect to the campaigns.
16. By submitting or participating in the campaign, it will be deemed the contestants agree and accept to follow and be bound by the Terms & Conditions, including giving their consent to the Promoter to collect, process, disclose and use personal data disclosed to the Promoter for the purpose of the campaign and competition, in which the storage period shall not be longer than necessary to carry out the campaign and claim for the prizes by the winners.
17. The contestants may contact michelinguide.thailand@michelin.com if it wishes to change, delete or requires Promoter to take any action relevant to his/her personal data. The Promoter will complete your request within 15 days upon receipt.
