The concept at Salt & Silver in St Pauli is "wanderlust cuisine à la carte". With views of the Elbe, diners choose from a seasonally changing à la carte menu that fuses regional ingredients with Mediterranean influences and international twists. Dishes include, for example, cod with pil-pil, chickpeas, potatoes and Kalamata olives, or grilled kale with hollandaise and chilli crunch. A tasting menu for sharing is also available. The pleasingly relaxed atmosphere is enhanced by unflappable and highly professional service, provided by a cheerfully charming and laid-back front-of-house team.
