Casa Vigil Winery: A Venue Inspired By Dante's Divine Comedy
Casa Vigil spans three independent halls accommodating up to 150 seated guests, along with Mendoza's most beautiful gardens that can host an additional 120 guests—or up to 500 in a cocktail format. The design is inspired by Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, an epic journey from the depths of hell to the heights of heaven, with sculptures and artworks at every corner amidst galleries adorned with trellises, stone paths, and the scent of lavender.Located in Chachingo, Casa Vigil is the domain of renowned winemaker Alejandro Vigil and his partner, educator and researcher MarÃa Sance. The eponymous restaurant, which has One MICHELIN Star, is led by Chef Iván Azar, who offers diverse menus for each occasion—from thoughtfully crafted lunches and dinners to special events and tastings. Dishes incorporate the best local products—like goat, trout, filet mignon, or rabbit—as well as seasonal vegetables like the finest tomatoes.
Catena Zapata Winery: Wine as the Undisputed Star
At Angélica Cocina Maestra, located within Catena Zapata Winery, wine takes center stage—whether during an intimate meal at the restaurant or events hosting up to 170 guests in the gardens amidst ancient olive trees and a breathtaking central fountain. "The concept here is that wines are the main dishes of the menu, and food pairs with the wines, not vice versa," explain the creators.The restaurant capitalizes on the structure of a 1920 vintage winery—the famous stepped pyramid of Catena Zapata seen from its vantage. It was designed as a homage to the family's roots, in particular, a small Italian villa that nods to the "old world" of wine. Handmade bricks, stones, recycled wood, and used barrels breath life into this space.
Led by Nicolás and Laura Catena (father and daughter) alongside winemaker Alejandro Vigil, the chefs, Josefina Diana and Juan Manuel Feijoo, have earned the restaurant a MICHELIN Star at the 2025 MICHELIN Gala. The 12-course menu showcases locally sourced ingredients—from vegetables and spices to proteins, fruits, and oils—grown or produced exclusively in Mendoza. Creative pairings include dishes such as saffron goat and eggplant with peanuts, highlighting the region’s flavors in inventive ways.
Durigutti Family Winemakers: From Intimate Gatherings to Grand Events
Entering Durigutti Family Winemakers in Las Compuertas, guests discover the 5 Suelos - Cocina de Finca, featuring a glass-enclosed dining room nestled in vineyards with stunning views. Corporate and social events are regular affairs, designed to order using the estate's various spaces. The venue welcomes everything from intimate dinners indoors and larger gatherings in the gardens and orchard, to grand events for up to 1200 guests with specially erected structures.Menu options vary by event and are always crafted under the guidance of Chef Patricia Courtois, who works closely with independent producers committed to sustainability and local traditions. Guests can enjoy dishes ranging from traditional Mendocinean beef to marinated silverfish with lilacs. For a playful touch, many events feature custom wine blending sessions or group tastings, adding an interactive element to the dining experience.
Lagarde Winery: Culinary Excellence in Multiple Venues
Approaching its 130th anniversary, managed by the Pescarmona family since the late 1960s, Lagarde Winery has made culinary excellence a cornerstone of its global presence.The winery features two restaurants ideal for any range of meetings and events. Fogón Cocina de Viñedo (MICHELIN Recommended) hosts up to 90 seated guests indoors, 150 including the patio, and up to 350 with a tent in the front yard. Meanwhile, the more intimate Zonda Cocina de Paisaje, which holds a MICHELIN Star, caters to 40 with a multi-course menu or 60 in cocktail format. Both restaurants rely heavily on produce from their lush garden, cultivating the vegetables and fruits used in their dishes.
Beyond this location, the winery hosts events at two additional Mendoza venues: Finca La Jacintana in Pedriel, an expansive estate accommodating up to 500 guests with lodging for 18, and the vibrant Criolla at Mercado Planta Uno in Godoy Cruz, featuring a grill and tavern for 100 guests, where local meats and wines take center stage.
Los Toneles Winery: Local Flavors in a Historic Setting
Chef MatÃas Gutiérrez at Abrasado within Bodega Los Toneles creates menus serving up to 400 guests, with a beautiful, historic building as a backdrop. The chef prioritizes the traceability of key ingredients, from meats, wines, spirits, oils, vinegars, to spices, all sourced from the owners' estates and fields.

Located in Luján de Cuyo, less than thirty minutes from central Mendoza, La Vid - Bodega Norton offers breathtaking views across the estate’s historic vineyards. Following an extensive renovation initiated a few years back—under the vision of Agustina Hanna, a young winemaker known for crafting wines with unique character—Ruca Malen offers incredible wines and a restaurant recognized among Mendoza's finest.Recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, this Agrelo restaurant, about 30 minutes from Mendoza City, accommodates up to 50 guests, with an exclusive private room for 12, all boasting spectacular views of the Andes. At Ruca Malen, Chef Mariano Gallego, owner of Brindillas—one of Mendoza’s five MICHELIN Starred restaurants—crafts a culinary journey through three- and six-course menus, perfectly paired with bodega wines. Dishes range from a simple Mendocinean empanada to robust langoustines with eggs and zucchini, served alongside the ‘Chapter Two’ Chardonnay, among other inspired selections.
Susana Balbo Wines: Timeless Elegance and Innovation
Whether you're after a cozy gathering in the wine cellar for up to 15 guests, a fireside event for 40, or a grand celebration hosting 500 in the estate's gardens, Susana Balbo Wines accommodates all possibilities. Extending from breakfast and lunch to sunset aperitifs and dinner, the culinary journey is overseen by OsadÃa de Crear.This season’s four-course event menu, curated by Chef Flavia Amad Di Leo, begins with cured trout served with fennel cream, pickled fennel, and candied orange, paired with a Susana Balbo Barrel Fermented Torrontés. Next, grilled sweetbreads arrive alongside cauliflower cream and charred pears, complemented by the house White Blend. The main course is grilled fillet with baby potatoes and confit mushrooms, paired with BenMarco Expresivo. The meal concludes with Gorgonzola ice cream accompanied by candied figs and toasted walnuts, matched with a glass of CrÃos Dulce Natural.
