Come armed with an appetite, as there are over 40 small plates and the reasonably priced "Balkan Experience" offers unlimited servings. Though this cuisine is known to be hearty, the kitchen isn't heavy-handed and presents an enticing lineup. The ćevapi piles smoky, succulent minced beef and pork kebabs onto a thin slice of charred flatbread and christens it with a swipe of kajmak, a funky sour Balkan cheese. Pita sa sirom takes impossibly paper-thin phyllo and layers it with a crumbly, salty cheese and egg filling. The parade of cured meats, flatbreads, salads, and sausages should all be washed down with rakia, a classic spirit made from quince or plum. Just in case you thought it would be easy to pick, there are more than 30 varieties on the menu.
