MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Cucina Urbana, like the other siblings in the Urban Kitchen Group family, is an amiable place that promises a good time. It’s casual, festive and draws regulars who flock here for their daily deals (Meatball Mondays are a favorite) and happy hour specials. Snacks are also aplenty. One sniff and you know truffle fries are big, but there's also chicken liver pâté and black garlic hummus with crusty bread as a ride along. Ribeye carpaccio is thinly sliced and ruby red; grilled octopus tentacle with speck, cashews, lemon yogurt and salsa verde is another winner. Neapolitan pizzas like the spicy guanciale with marinated tomato, smoked cheddar, béchamel and spicy Fresno chilies is far from traditional, while creative pastas won't let you down.
