MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Set within a 1920s warehouse, this fire-hot spot from celebrity chef Richard Blais boasts of rustic charm (imagine redwood beams and tan leather furnishings).
The menu also leaves no stone unturned in its quest for kooky inspiration. Fig tart, with a wedge of fresh fig tucked inside a tart shell filled with whipped hazelnut butter, delivers that sweet and savory yin and yang. A summertime staple—freshly caught prawns with Old Bay butter—is turned on its head, literally, as they're served head on and split down the middle. And that familiar duo of lamb with mint may be nothing new, but here the loin is served over beet hummus and enhanced by caramelized yogurt sauce, beet falafel as well as mint. An upmarket riff on a Yodel makes a charming finale.
