This typical Bilbao “botxero”, a classic feature of Bilbao’s restaurant scene, opened its doors in 1878 under the name Bar Colón. Today, following its impressive renovation which has seen it retain much of its authentic character, it is one of the most interesting restaurants in the city’s old quarter.
