In lovely natural surroundings (lizarraga means "ash forest" in Basque), this 17C farmhouse with its character firmly intact is at once chic and pastoral. The chef (formerly at Zoko Moko, in St - Jean - de - Luz) offers a new version of market - based cuisine here. Enjoy it on the terrace, in the shade of a 100 year - old walnut tree. Quite simply, delightful.
