The mood is warm and boisterous at this vibrant spot for Oaxacan cuisine. A smattering of tables, bar counter and wood-fired oven lend a neighborhood feel. Tuck in to a four-course prix fixe, or dine à la carte at the bar. The menu changes frequently to reflect the seasons and ranges from traditional dishes to creative riffs on the classics. Masa is one of the cornerstones of the kitchen, stone ground in house from Oaxacan criollo corn and hand shaped into diverse specialties ranging from tortillas and tlayudas to memelas, finished on a wood-fired comal.
