The highlight of the tempura is the various kinds of shrimp. First is the usual Japanese tiger prawn. Wrapping certain of the same items in a shiso adds some variation. There are also treats such as seasonal kakiage featuring sakura ebi, Shiba shrimp and Japanese glass shrimp. The speciality is egg yolk tempura topped with caviar. Ending the meal with ornate desserts by Pierre Hermé is something else you’ll only find here.
