Having met while working in the kitchen at Vienna's Steirereck, they now represent the fourth generation to run this family business. Anna oversees the cordial service, and Daniel focuses on the food, in which craftsmanship and flavour take centre stage. The menu features classics such as Styrian Duroc pork schnitzel and grilled char from the Schwarzenberg fish farm, as well as seasonal dishes like carpaccio of young stag and Baiersdorf roe buck ragout, all with a pronounced regional emphasis. The well-chosen wine list is worth exploring. In summer, the garden and the larch terrace are especially inviting.
