In the grounds of Schloss Grafenegg, this restaurant is housed in what was once the castle tavern. It comprises a series of tastefully decorated, high-ceilinged rooms with beautiful hardwood flooring, large mullioned windows, chandeliers and classical paintings as well as the rustic and cosy Schlossstube. Tables are also laid out on the lovely terrace in front of the establishment. The friendly and attentive waitstaff serve up predominantly Austrian fare made with market-fresh produce – veal shank carpaccio or Topfenstrudel (curd cheese strudel) are examples of the tempting dishes on offer.
