Once you’ve passed through Vietri heading towards the Amalfi Coast, you come to the Giardini del Fuenti perched on a cliff sloping towards the sea. This hotel complex boasts a beach, terraced garden and the seafront Riva Restaurant (open at lunchtime only), as well as the gourmet Volta del Fuenti. In a spacious, minimalist-style dining room with large windows overlooking the bay, chef Michele De Blasio serves elaborate dishes which are explained at your table and based on skilful reinterpretations of classic specialities from Campania with a focus on bitter and acidic flavours.
