While other regional Thai cuisines are represented, intensely flavoured Isan dishes from north-eastern Thailand dominate the menu at this cosy eatery in the busy Si Lom neighbourhood. The big draw is the famous Som Tam (Thai papaya salad), which can be served ‘Isan style’ (with fermented fish) or ‘Thai style’ (without fermented fish) – along with a variety of other topping options. The brand has expanded over the years and now has other branches in New York City, Tokyo and Taipei.
