En route for the French Riviera, the movie stars of Paris, from Mistinguett to Jean Gabin and Fernandel, used to stop off here. Keen to maintain this heritage, the restaurant has kept the name of its founder, Germaine Vion (1922), as well as a devotion to fine food. In a village beloved of wine connoisseurs, the establishment curates suave dishes (red mullet with potatoes in saffron or mallard duck roasted whole, beetroot and juniper).
