This former monastery makes for a wonderful setting. In what was once the cattle shed, the impressive Bohemian vaulted ceiling has been incorporated into the modern interior design, with a centrally positioned open kitchen. Out in the courtyard of the Cistercian monastery, there is a lovely terrace, slightly separated from the beer garden. The menu is varied, featuring dishes with a modern twist and made with sustainably produced (organic) regional produce. Options include dishes from the Josper grill, as well as vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Lunchtime buffet.

"I want to know exactly how my organic produce comes into being; this applies to how the animals are kept, fed and slaughtered, as well as the crops from organic farming that I use. Equally important to me is fair trade and the quality of life of my employees."
