MGallery Molitor, Spa by Clarins
Molitor's Art Deco swimming pool, nicknamed 'the white cruise liner', was inaugurated in 1929 and welcomed bathers for decades. After closing in 1989, the pool became a haven for Parisian street artists, and was later turned into a luxury hotel and chic seaside resort, designed by architect Jean-Philippe Nuel. The Accor group now operates the hotel under the MGallery brand. The Clarins Spa within the hotel complex is an oasis of calm in the city, presenting a wide range of made-to-measure treatments, including soothing, beauty or sports massages, endermologie and cryotherapy. To round off the experience, head to the hammam, sauna and sensory shower. Access to the two historic swimming pools – one indoor, one outdoor – is included.

The interior décor – as opulent as it is imposing – has been updated by architect Laura Gonzalez, who has given it a vigorous facelift without sacrificing any of its character.
