In Malaysia, approximately 60 percent of the population are Muslims, and many will fast from dawn till dusk. The dizzying array of bazaars, buffet spreads, and Iftar (meals taken at sundown to break the daily fast) menus offered during Ramadan is one of the highlights, where one is spoiled for choice to buka puasa (break the fast).
