What is striking as you arrive at the Château de la Chèvre d'Or is its exceptional location affording a jaw-dropping view. Perched high up on the flank of a rocky hillside in a medieval village, this place commands stunning views of the Côte d'Azur hinterland and the glinting Mediterranean. When it comes to the food, there is plenty to get enthusiastic about. Drawing on delicious produce sourced in the area (fish, meat, vegetables, olive oil and herbs) and all the talent we associate with him, Arnaud Faye creates harmonious and precise dishes that are often irresistible.
