Tucked away behind St Sulpice Church in the heart of arty St Germain des Prés, this former 'bougnat' eatery pulls out all the stops against a backdrop of tiled floors, fake leather banquettes and the cheerful chatter of regular patrons. Start with a house-made peppery black pudding terrine, followed by tender, crispy-skinned free-range chicken, melt-in-the-mouth potatoes, chard, mushrooms and a gutsy pepper sauce, to finish with a glorious vanilla millefeuille.
