                        Lunch is an inviting operation run by Chef Mallory Grimm and boasts a country store charm that's thoroughly authentic. The structure dates back to the 1930s, and features cream walls and wainscotting, a variety of wood tables, and displays of local vegetables, jams and honey, and dry goods. 
This Sewanee operation lives up to its name, open from morning to afternoon and serving a concise menu featuring products from local farms that may offer up the likes of seasonal salads, huevos rancheros or a steak sandwich on house-made baguette with Gruyère, tender peppers and onions, and chimichurri sauce. Be sure to save room for one (or more) of the freshly baked pastries, say a wedge of zucchini cake with buttermilk glaze.
