The brothers who run Kyochuka Makisada are following in the footsteps of their father, who was a chef at a Chinese restaurant. The sign beside the shop curtain was written by their father, a gift to celebrate their start of a new life. The “sada” part is common to both brothers’ names. The elder brother, Sadataka, runs the kitchen, while the younger brother, Sadanao, handles service.
