This kappo izakaya is packed night after night. Its renowned sabazushi is prepared with mackerel cut so thick it makes up half the thickness of the sushi. Another popular item, the stir-fried lettuce, stir-fried with oyster sauce, garlic and chilli pepper, beguiles with its Chinese seasonings. Obanzai such as okara and potato salad are standard fare. With over 100 items on the menu, choosing what to eat can be a challenge, but being unable to try everything will make you want to come back.
