Open only from 10am to 2pm, this neighbourhood joint on a quiet street is inspired by the 1980s – ceiling fans, a vintage fridge in mint green, wooden benches and other knick-knacks bring back all the memories. Similarly, the short menu also covers old-time local favourites, such as steamed rice dressed in lard and spiced soy, noodle soup with peas, crispy meat sauce or braised beef shin. Order from the cashier and wait for your number to be called.
