Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
This brightly decorated café-cum-bistro sits within a red brick building on the edge of the Old Town and has something of a bohemian air, courtesy of a tiled bar, an eclectic mix of artwork and a laid-back vibe. Carefully prepared European dishes have a homely style and burst with freshness and flavour; you can have anything from coffee and cake or a lamb sandwich to a full meal, with the house pasta coming highly recommended. It’s a place that’s loved by guests both young and old.
