The bamboo-clad room, with globe pendant light fixtures that connect like an oversized pearl bracelet, evokes old-time charm and whimsy. A globetrotter himself, the British chef opened The Tavernist in 2020 to celebrate his culinary journeys both in Taiwan and around the world. He serves 4-course sets at lunch; the tasting menu at dinner is especially worth trying. A pre- or post-dinner cocktail at the bar or on the patio is a must.
