Founded in the late 19C, this dining inn is a fusion of Japanese architecture and modern sensibilities. The owners are keen observers when they travel overseas and work with their chefs to incorporate ideas. Building on their deep respect for Kyoto cuisine, they provide extra enjoyment by sometimes adding Western ingredients to the mix; the ingeniously executed tsukuri is just one example. Attentive service as only a ryotei can provide makes dining a relaxing experience.
