On the Lac d'Orient road, this fine half-timbered house reflects the typical architecture of the Champagne Humide macro-region. It houses a restaurant where French culinary tradition is brought to life with remarkable talent. The dishes showcase quality ingredients – pâté en croûte royale, cassolette of snails in Champagne or braised beef chuck accompanied by a Pinot wine lees sauce and small, melt-in-the-mouth Ratte potatoes. The meal ends on a high note with a baba au raisin from Troyes. The fine wine list, packed with champagnes, rounds off the experience nicely.
