This establishment has been run by the Fuchs family for 35 years, and these days, it is Rolf and Manuela Fuchs who are in charge. The modern, elegant restaurant atop Hartlisberg boasts not only a chic atmosphere but also a truly magnificent view of Thun and the mountains – a spot on the terrace is a must! The chef-patron's cuisine is no less of a draw. It is modern, yet clearly classical in its foundations, making for dishes that are robust and expressive. As a matter of course, the ingredients are sourced locally as possible. There is a decent wine selection, and astute recommendations come courtesy of the friendly, professional waitstaff.
