Over 100 years ago, industrial warehouses lined East 6th Street in Austin, Texas. A century later, thanks to preservationists, some have been revitalized. Repurposing an abandoned warehouse into its bar and modeling the rest of the hotel off of the same theme, ARRIVE Austin has authentically respected the surrounding neighborhood.
Recently recognized as one of eight Austin hotels with a MICHELIN Key, ARRIVE is the most affordable option for a very special stay filled with great hospitality, just as Palisociety hotels are known to do.
Below, the rundown of just what to expect at ARRIVE Austin.

The Location
East 6th Street is one of Austin’s most vibrant areas, full of neighborhood bars and restaurants. With no shortage of confidence and energy, locals and visitors alike love walking down the street in their cowboy boots, ready to hop into whichever live music venue or outdoor patio seems most inviting.
The hotel has no gym, but the area is ripe for exploration. Besides getting in steps from a stroll, the Pan American Neighborhood Park is just two blocks away, giving hotel guests a good excuse to enjoy the Austin sunshine. The pickleball courts are full of enthusiastic players, so don’t forget to bring your paddle.
Zooming out, ARRIVE is close to pretty much everything. It takes ten minutes or less to get to the Moody Center, UT Austin campus, or Downtown Austin, so there’s something for everyone. For concertgoers, it’s a comfortably creative oasis. For business travelers, it’s a warmly welcomed retreat away from downtown. For tourists, it’s the perfect way to feel like a local.

The Restaurants
Upon arriving, guests are given a drink voucher for the hotel’s restaurant, which is directly connected to the check-in counter. Kalimotxo is by Chef Kevin Fink, known for Hestia (One Star), Emmer & Rye (Green Star), Ladino (Bib Gourmand), Ezov, and Nicosi. But the chef's Spanish tapas spot packs its own punch, with Basque-style pintxos and its namesake red wine cola cocktails.
Outside of the hotel, there are plenty of delicious options as well. Across the street, Suerte serves hearty Mexican standouts. Apt 115 is a peaceful wine bar modeled after the apartment complex it's located in, making guests feel right at home. For MICHELIN-Starred barbecue, take a longer stroll over to la Barbecue, run by Chef Ali Clem.

The Other Facilities
Lefty’s Brick Bar is an open air patio bar that simply feels good. At almost 110 years old, its building is among the oldest in the neighborhood and part of the original inspiration behind ARRIVE Austin. Previously an abandoned warehouse, the space has now become an important stop for East 6th Street bar crawls, serving strong frozen margaritas.
If you come in March, you'll see it as an official venue for South by Southwest (SXSW). The rest of the year, activities include trivia nights, UT football games, DJs, Halloween parties, and Christmas festivities.
Other spaces at the hotel include Natuur (smoothies and bowls), Sorek (men’s barbershop and clothing store), and a private rooftop patio with a bookable meeting room.

The Room and View
Now, the finale: where you'll recharge.
In the hallway before entering the room, there are soundproof mesh ceilings and dark tile bricks, honoring the history of the area.
As soon as you walk in, natural light floods the room, coming in from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Of course, this means breathtaking views. You might catch the skyscrapers of Downtown Austin, the Texas Capitol, scenic neighborhood railroad tracks, or Huston-Tillotson University's campus.
There are different room options (including some with balconies), but even the most basic studio feels comfortable. All rooms are spacious with a breakfast nook, refrigerator, and a stocked minibar. Oversized restrooms have marble-accented countertops and Growth Alchemist bath amenities.
Adorning the walls in between concrete ceiling and floors is colorful artwork with a cowboy-meets-mythology theme. The room is ripe for creativity, equipped with a Marshall speaker, Apple TV, and if you wish, your own dog for a fee.

The Deal
At ARRIVE Austin, prices for a studio can be under $200 and tend to stay below $300. For that kind of budget, it’s hard to find such a curated, trusted experience in a great location.
Austin, we have arrived.
